During these trying times, there are many resources. Here are some of my favorites. If you need anything, please let me know and I will try and find a resource for you.
It is vital that you be proactive and research these resources. YOU are your own advocate. None of the assistance is a hand-out. During the last crisis, large corporations were given a great deal of assistance to help keep the country moving forward. This time, small businesses & individuals have the opportunity to utilize these opportunities. If you are eligible for assistance, please claim it to help keep the country moving forward. That’s what it is there for.

Mortgage Assistance Options and other resources for homeowners are outlined here. If you are struggling to pay your rent or mortgage, contact your landlord or mortgage company immediately. Ask about potential forbearance options, skipping payments, or possibly reducing your security deposit and utilizing part of the deposit (if you are a tenant). Get everything in writing. Be polite and proactive. And remember, everyone else is dealing with the effects of this virus.
