Is that big house holding you back from your best life?

Time to downsize? Or maybe rightsizing would work better.

Feeling overwhelmed. Confused? Stuck?

Hi there, I’m Ann Brady and I’m here with decades of experience with the complexities and joys of downsizing. I’ve written three books and I’m currently working on my book Savvy Rightsize: Senior Transitions for Life. But until it’s done, check out my FREE book Savvy Seller, Top Dollar: Special Circumstances where I deal with some of the same concerns.

Would you be happier without that big house? It’s a complicated question with many interwoven factors.

I know that sometimes selling that big house feels like freedom. And sometimes, it feels like you’ve lost your foundation.

So, let’s skip that uncertainty and just help you find your freedom…and your foundation.

There is never any cost or obligation for a Rightsizing Savvy Consultation.

“Selling that huge house will give me back my life.”

You see, I hear from people all the time trying to reclaim more of their life by having less of that big house.

Some people rightsize to create time and money in their world for adventure.

Others want to downsize because caring for that big house is just too much.

Maybe that big yard just takes too much time and energy.

And for others, a thoughtful downsize can add years of independence and freedom.

“I don’t know what to do with my big house.”

I hear it all the time. What in the world will you do with that big house?

Whatever life you are trying to reclaim, it’s no fun to be stuck in a house that’s too big.

I often chat with my clients who have downsized and they tell me their lives are better. More comfortable. More joyful.

In fact, one client, Mrs. Landon, tells everyone that she meets, “Ann made my whole life better. She went above and beyond. And I couldn’t be happier with my sweet new home.

Her downsize was a delight!

“I’m not sure that selling is your best option.”

But what if downsizing isn’t the best choice?

Just last week, I spent time with a couple who were ready to sell their beloved home.

But I told them that I thought a home sale may not be their best option.

A few renovations to create a more livable space. Some one-time landscaping & hardscaping to minimize the yard work. And voila, they could easily stay in their beautiful home.

Their jaws dropped in disbelief. Their eyes filled with tears.

Don’t get me wrong. We’re still talking about their options to downsize, but now they are considering their other options to rightsize their current beloved house.

But they feel in control of the outcome. They’ve got all their options right in front of them. And an informed decision will come from all that information.

So, which path is right?

Which path is right for you?

Both!

Options offer autonomy. Insight brings clarity.

And from there, you’ll know what works best for your own personal needs.

My clients tell me the insight that I provide is invaluable and powerful as they evaluate their possibilities and find their solutions.

And they also find that simply by reaching out for resources, their decisions are easier than they had imagined.

Reach out to me to find your best option.

Often, the solutions are more simple (and more surprising) than you think

Today’s Savvy Rightsize Consultation leads to tomorrow’s answer.

A bit more about me.

Over fifteen years ago, my parents were both diagnosed with cancer within a month of each other. I had a curious two-year-old daughter and a broken heart.

I spent much of my daughter’s early years caring for my terminally ill parents and eventually, dealing with their estate. Those days were intense and all-encompassing.  They changed me permanently.

I’m stronger.

Calmer.

And while sadness is always present after such a loss, I’ve also learned how to claim joy.

Quickly. Often. Greedily.

I also learned that a house can be a nest. Or a trap.

A house can bring joy. Or it can bring exhaustion.

Several years ago, I thought about getting a Master’s Degree in counseling. I knew that the lessons I had learned during those challenging days shouldn’t be wasted.

But then, I realized that I could use those lessons along with my real estate background to serve others who are considering downsizing either due to limitations or a desire for an easier, or more full life.

Three books and many happy clients later, I’m here as a resource and a friend during your own life transitions.

Whether you are looking for a simpler lifestyle, or an adult child supporting your parents through their life transitions, I’m here to help.

I have been serving rightsizing seniors for decades and now I’m here to help you.

The sooner we talk, the sooner you find your best solution.

With a heart for your journey,

I am at your service,

Ann
